Understand the important payroll and employment changes on the horizon with Azets and Ware & Kay Solicitors Course: With several important payroll and employment changes on the horizon, Azets and Ware & Kay Solicitors are bringing together their payroll and employment specialists for a free seminar for charities, voluntary organisations and businesses across York and the surrounding area. The session will look at what’s changing, what these developments could mean for employers and, importantly, what you can start doing now to prepare. Registration will be from 10:00am, with hot drinks available on arrival. Course Content: Jessica Gower from Ware & Kay Solicitors will provide an update on key employment law developments expected over the next six months, helping employers understand what’s changing and what these changes could mean for their organisations and workforce. Julie Gunnell from Azets will cover the payroll perspective, including: An update on the Fair Work Agency and what its developing role could mean for employers Mandatory payrolling of Benefits in Kind from April 2027 The associated compliance requirements Practical steps employers can start taking now to prepare for the changes The session is designed to provide a practical and accessible overview, helping you understand what needs your attention now and what you should be planning for over the coming months. Eligibility This training is free to attend, funded by Ware & Kay Solicitors, Azets and York CVS It is open to Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations based and operating in the City of York, including York Outer, as well as organisations supporting beneficiaries in York. Due to high demand, places are limited to two people per VCSE organisation. If you are no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to another delegate.
