About This Event

A family support course regarding the management of anger begins on 24 September 2026 at Kingsway North in York. The five-week programme helps parents understand anger in themselves and their children. It provides positive strategies for management.

A 5 week course to help parents understand their own anger & their children's, giving positive strategies to help manage it well.

Anger can be a real taboo issue in parenting conversations. We want to change this at Family Matters York! Anger is a natural emotion, but a lot of us don’t know where it comes from or what to do with it – and this can have a really negative impact on family life.

This course seeks to help parents understand their own anger, gives tools to help their children understand theirs too, and offers strategies to support parents & their children to handle anger and conflict in a positive way.

5 Sessions on Thursdays 10am - 112 noon @ SEND Central (Clifton Children's Centre), Kingsway N, Clifton, York YO30 6JA
