About York Dungeon Standard Admission

York Dungeon Standard Admission at York Dungeon takes you through 2,000 years of York’s darker history. The experience uses live actors, immersive sets and special effects as you see, hear and smell the city’s murky past.

Along the way, you meet Vikings and their Saxon enemies, then encounter some of York’s most notorious figures, including Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington. The experience also covers the Black Plague and a fearsome torture chamber.

It is a theatrical, story-led way to explore York’s more notorious history and characters.

Children must be aged 5 and over. York Dungeon is not recommended for under 8s.
