At Richard and Jo's soundbaths you are invited to calm your heart and expand your mind to the sound of gongs, himalayan singing bowls and other therapeutic instruments.

Every soundbath is unique, immersive and reflects the seasons. Expect a sensory sonic experience that will take you out of the stress of day to day living and uplift and regenerate you.

Who are Jo & Richard

Sound practitioners Jo Carter and Richard Farrington created Soundshine to share their love of restorative sound.

Working both individually and together, they invite guests to RELAX . BREATHE and LISTEN deeply and immerse themselves in the transformational power of sound.

With love and imagination they weave the sound and silences of gongs and Himalayan singing bowls and other special instruments.

They regularly hold private and group Soundbaths, create sound-scapes in acoustically resonant places and can be booked for special occasions, festivals and retreats.

What to expect

Arrive 15 minutes before the session to get settled. We begin with breathwork and guided meditation, followed by 45 minutes of sound where you are welcome to lie or sit.

After the soundbath, why not stay and chat at the end as we offer healthy snacks and refreshments. This gives you the chance to ground before leaving and connect with others and share your experience if you wish.

There is plenty of free parking at the venue and its just 15 minutes from Alton train station.
