At @thegrange in Blackpool, this training will equip Spring North members. The session aims to teach the design of Neurodiversity-inclusive support by addressing environments, communication methods, and sensory awareness.
Equip Spring North members to design ND‑inclusive support through better environments, communication, and sensory awareness.
Delivered as part of Spring North’s member training programme, this in‑person workshop supports VCFSE organisations to design and deliver services that are genuinely accessible to neurodivergent people. Participants will explore key neurodivergent profiles, the barriers individuals often face when accessing community services, and how organisations can adapt environments, communication and engagement approaches to be more inclusive.
The session covers sensory considerations, practical adjustments that improve accessibility, and how to embed neurodiversity‑informed thinking into service design. Attendees will work through real examples from across our network, with guided activities and tools they can apply directly within their own organisation.
Members will leave with a stronger understanding of neurodiversity, increased confidence in making meaningful adjustments, and clear steps to create ND‑friendly, supportive and accessible services for the communities they serve.
