October is a month rich in connection and preparing. A month for hunkering down, deep into our roots. Preparing for the sap to slow, the breath to deepen, our bodies and minds to begin to tend an inner flame. To help us in this turning within, it is also thought of as a time of divine thinning— when the veil between the spirit realm and our waking world is at its most diaphanous, a time when we can know that our inner flame is being strengthened by the light of our guides and ancestors.When we gather Sunday morning 4th October, we will feather the nest for this sacred month, considering what wants to be known at this time.
