A Wellbeing Nature Walk & Dance will be held at Stanmer Park Nature Reserve in Falmer on 21 November 2026. Participants will engage in mindful walking activities exploring natural surroundings through sensory and mindfulness-based exercises. The session concludes with a guided meditation followed by a free-form movement and dance experience.
Explore nature through mindful activities, outdoor discovery and free movement, with space to connect, reflect and have fun.
🌿 Join us for a mindful nature and wellbeing walk designed to help you slow down, reconnect and experience nature in a different way.
Throughout the walk, we’ll explore the natural surroundings through gentle, sensory and mindfulness-based activities, encouraging you to notice the colours, sounds, textures and details around you while creating space to reflect, connect and simply be present.
💃 After the walk, we’ll finish with a mindful movement and dance session to music. We’ll begin with a short guided meditation to bring your attention to your body and notice how you’re feeling. We’ll then invite you to move freely, without choreography or expectations. You can dance, stretch, sway, walk or simply move in whatever way feels comfortable for you.
There’s no right or wrong way to take part, this is about letting go of judgement, noticing your body and enjoying moving to music in your own way.
No previous experience of mindfulness or dance is needed. Just come as you are! Headsets will be provided for a silent disco style dance.
