Join Communities and Education Officer Rebecca Neal for a short walk on Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve looking for seasonal wildlife.
This is part of a series of short, monthly walks, led by Communities and Education Officer Rebecca Neal, around Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve, in the warmer months. We walk at a leisurely pace on flat paths, taking around an hour to go 1-2 miles. We stop to discuss whatever wildlife comes along, and focus on common species. (Additional walks which are more in-depth and longer, are available on the second Monday of the month)
These walks are aimed at adults, but interested older children are welcome.
Additional information
Parking is at the council-owned Byron's Pool car park. Spaces cannot be guarenteed, but it is not likely to be busy at this time. Alternative parking can be found at Trumpington park and ride which is about a 15 minute walk away
There are no toilets available for this walk
Most paths around Trumpington Meadows are surfaced, but we may make use of more rustic paths on the edge of the reserve, or in the nearby wood
