Maybe content keeps falling to the bottom of your list. You run out of ideas, second-guess what to say, feel awkward on camera, or end up posting whatever happens to be on your phone just to stay visible. Plus, all too often it looks amateur and homemade.

And even when you do create something, there can still be that question:

From Business Clarity to Content is a practical, small-group working day for creatives, makers, freelancers, founders and small-business owners who want a clearer thread behind their content - and dedicated time in a real content studio to create it.

We’ll start by looking at what your business needs people to understand:

what you offer

who it’s for

what your customers want to move away from or towards

how your offer helps

what you want to be known for

how you want your business to feel

the messages and stories your content could communicate

Then we’ll take that clarity into a professional content studio and turn it into photos, short video clips, b-roll, talking-head content and post ideas you can use.

You won’t leave with another notebook full of things you should do. You’ll leave having created the content.

By the end of the day, you’ll have:

a clearer idea of the look, feel and message behind your content

a small bank of usable photos and short video clips

b-roll you can reuse across reels, stories and posts

at least one talking-head video

post hooks and content ideas

draft copy and captions

ideas for connecting your content back to your products, services or offers

a clearer idea of what to post next

You’ll also learn simple, practical ways to create stronger phone content: composition, b-roll, talking-head videos and how to turn an image or clip into a useful business post.

You do not need to be confident on camera, good at social media or know how to make reels. You don’t need expensive equipment or to look like a polished content creator.

You’ll be guided through the process and work at your own level.

The aim is to create strong, useful content that still feels like you.

Maximum 8 places so there is plenty of time for individual support and practical content creation.

Where we’ll meet

We’ll meet at 10am in the Wellness Coffee Lounge, Willcox House, Cardiff Bay, CF11 0BA before moving upstairs to Studio Halo at 11am.

Please arrive from 9:50am so we can start promptly.

What to bring

Bring your:

phone and charger

notebook and pen

tripod, if you have one - optional

optional change of clothes if you’d like different looks across your content

Also bring anything that helps visually tell the story of your business, such as:

artwork

tools or materials

packaging

sketchbooks

laptop

clothing or accessories

props connected to what you make, sell or offer

Studio session

Three hours of the day will take place in Studio Halo, a dedicated professional content studio with lighting, backdrops, furniture and props to give you different options for photos and short-form video.

Food and drinks

A welcome hot drink is included, along with soft drinks and snacks during the day.

Additional coffee, tea and lunch can be purchased from the café downstairs or nearby venues.

Parking

Free parking is available in the designated car parks at Willcox House.

From 1 October 2025, visitors must register their vehicle details within 10 minutes of entering the car park using the machine in building reception to avoid a parking charge notice.

Public transport

Willcox House is served by several bus routes around Cardiff Bay. Cogan station is approximately a 16-minute walk away.
