The Open University in Wales Caring for Carers Cymru and ND Community Connectors CIC presents an Autism and ADHD Services & Support Information Event for Cardiff Parents/Carers.
This is for parents/carers of children and young people awaiting an Autism/ADHD diagnosis or with a neurodevelopmental (ND) diagnosis in Cardiff.
Information stalls from locally based services and support that can be accessed whilst waiting or post diagnosis.
Services include: Local authority, Education and Third Sector/Charity. These services provide support in many areas such as; mananging behaviour, mental health and wellbeing support, finacial support and support for the whole family.
This is a drop-in event. You can arrive and leave anytime between 10:00 and 11:30. There is no need to attend for the whole hour and a half but if you would like to stay you are very welcome to. There will be hot drinks and biscuits provided.
The aims of this event are:
To provide and connect you with information on the Cardiff ND services and support that are available to you and your family regardless of diagnosis.
To give you the chance to meet services in person, ask them questions and directly gain access to their support.
Unfortunately, we do not have childcare services available, so this session is for parents and carers only. Please make alternative arrangements for looking after your child/children at this time.
