Join us at Ffotogallery for a relaxed, creative workshop exploring menopause, identity, wellbeing and lived experience through photography, words and poetry.

Using photographs from Ffotogallery’s Feminist Library collection as inspiration, we’ll explore themes of the body, identity, ageing, health, change and community.

Through playful activities using colour, words and images, you’ll be invited to reflect on your own experiences before choosing a photograph that speaks to you. We’ll use it to create a short 5-7-5 haiku, bringing together imagery, words and personal reflection.

We’ll share ideas and responses as a group, with no pressure to share anything personal. At the end, we’ll bring our words, photographs and colours together to create a collaborative collection of poems and imagery celebrating the many different experiences of menopause.

No creative experience is needed. Materials, tea and coffee provided.
