The New HR Agenda: AI Innovation, Wellbeing and Workplace Rights
An event in partnership between the Wales HR Network and Beam Development and Training. Supported by FinTech Wales and hosted by the Open University Wales.
AI is changing the way we work, while new employment laws and rising expectations around workplace culture are reshaping the role of HR.
This panel brings together experts from employment law, AI, wellbeing and business transformation to explore what these changes mean in practice.
We'll discuss how organisations can use AI to improve recruitment, learning, workforce planning and employee experience, while making sure it's used responsibly and fairly. The conversation will also look at employee wellbeing, including burnout, digital overload and the pressures of modern working, and where technology can help rather than hinder.
Alongside this, our panel will unpack the latest UK employment law developments, including proposed government reforms, changing expectations around flexible working and employee rights, and the legal considerations around AI-assisted decision-making.
Our expert speakers:
Owen John, Employment Law Partner, Darwin Gray
Simon Drinkwater, Founder & Director, Vantor Advisory
Dr Julia Jones, Founder & CEO, Holidity
Andrea Jones, Founder & Director, VisVira
Whether you're leading HR, managing people or helping shape workplace culture, you'll leave with practical insights and fresh ideas for creating workplaces that embrace innovation while putting people first.
