A Black British classic, back on the big screen in Butetown. Join us this Black History Month for film, music, conversation and community.

About the event

When was the last time you got to watch a Black British classic on the big screen?

This Black History Month, Young, Black & Bold is bringing Babylon to Butetown.

We’re getting together for an evening of film, music and conversation, starting with time to meet, connect and settle in before watching Babylon together.

The film takes us into Black British life, culture, identity and resistance, and after the screening we’ll keep the conversation going with a 30-minute panel discussion and audience Q&A.

You don’t need to already know the film. If you’ve seen Babylon before, come experience it again with a room full of people. If you’ve never seen it, this is your chance.

Come through. Bring someone with you. Watch the film. Join the conversation.
