Ellie from Phoenix Gongs lovingly holds space to create an evening of Transformative Vibrational Sound.
Our upcoming Sound Bath is happening at a private sound healing studio in Maidstone ME15 9AQ. Please note this is a private residence, and the full address will be sent upon purchase of tickets (please contact me with any questions).
Gentle, yet powerful, we aim to take you on a sublime sonic experience, a relaxing and restorative sound journey, using the radiant light of healing that emanates from Planet Gongs combined with Crystal Singing Bowls.
Take this opportunity to relax, go within, realign and balance. We ask you to come, surrender fully and allow the sacred sounds to wash over and through you.
Nurture inner peace.
Deepen spiritual connection.
Embrace more clarity and joy.
Yoga mats, blankets and bolsters are available in the studio, but you are also welcome to bring your own. Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is recommended.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the session begins to allow yourself time to settle comfortably before we start.
What happens during a sound bath?
Despite the name, there is no water involved. The word bath refers to being immersed in the sounds and vibrations of the gongs and crystal singing bowls.
How should I prepare?
Wear comfortable, warm clothing and, if you like, bring your favourite woolly socks and a bottle of water to help you feel extra comfortable. You'll be lying on a yoga mat for the duration of the sound bath. Bolsters and blankets are available, but you are welcome to bring your own to support your comfort.
What should I expect?
During a sound bath, you may experience dream-like imagery, see colours, or simply enjoy a deep sense of rest. Some participants notice physical sensations such as tingling or warmth, or become more aware of areas of tension or discomfort, which may gently soften or ease as the sound journey progresses. These experiences will vary from person to person, and may also differ from one session to another.
Emotionally, you may feel peaceful, joyful, reflective, or occasionally tearful. Whatever arises, you're encouraged to meet it with kindness and without judgement.
Most people find the sounds of gongs and crystal singing bowls relaxing and meditative. Occasionally, however, you may find that a particular sound feels uncomfortable or evokes an unexpected response. If this happens, you may wish to simply return your attention to your breath, body sensations, or a gentle mantra. You're always encouraged to listen to your own needs and adjust your position or take a break if that feels right for you.
Contraindications:
Every person's experience of a sound bath is unique. Many people find sound baths deeply relaxing, restorative and supportive of their wellbeing. However, a sound bath may not be suitable for you if you:
• experience tinnitus or sound-triggered epilepsy;
• are in the first trimester of pregnancy;
• are currently receiving, or have received within the past six months, treatment or medication for a significant mental or physical health condition (please contact me to discuss your individual circumstances);
• have a pacemaker or certain implanted medical devices or metal implants.
A Note from Me:
Above all, this is an invitation to rest, to meet your experience without expectation, and to offer yourself gentle care and kindness. It is my sincere wish to create a nurturing space where you feel safe, supported, and able to simply be.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss whether a sound bath is suitable for you, please do get in touch. I would also love to hear your feedback following the session.
