The Introduction to Millinery Short Course will commence on 6 November 2026 at The Stables in Chelmsford. This course consists of three two-hour sessions and is designed for a small group, providing comprehensive instruction in millinery. Ticket prices can be checked on the website.
Join Vanessa in her studio over three two hour studio sessions on your selected month, where you will join a small group (max 4) for a comprehensive introduction to millinery. Session 1 – Millinery materials, tools and blocking techniques Session 2 – Removing from the block, structure and head fixings Session 3 – Decorations and embellishments At the end of the course you will have created your own unique felt button hat. All materials are included, as well as a hat box, refreshments and complimentary parking Cost is £200 per person. Course dates for 2026: September (Saturdays) 5, 12 and 19 10am – 12pm November Fridays 6, 13 and 20 10am – 12pm Vanessa also offers 1-2-1 millinery experiences and gift vouchers are also available.
