About This Event

Stand-up comic and Radio 4 regular Lucy Porter joins comedian Shirley Halse for a gloriously irreverent night celebrating the women holding everything together. It’s 8:31am and you’ve already replied to your boss’s deranged overnight emails, got the kids to school in something resembling a uniform, unblocked the shower drain with your bare hands and sorted out your mum’s supermarket order crisis. Welcome to midlife: where women are unstoppable, indispensable… and completely exhausted. Funny, frank, and fiercely relatable – join us for an evening of catharsis (and because, for an hour, nobody can ask anything of you). There will be a book signing after this event.
