Minister for the Counterculture, Mancunian mainstay, alternative national treasure – John Robb , author of Punk Rock Ruined My Life , has lived a life in music. He throws you headfirst into the glorious chaos of punk, chairing this event with three brilliant guides: Kevin Dettmar , author of Punk in 50 Pieces , blasting through the era's cultural earthquake one song at a time; Matthew Worley , whose No Future digs into punk's politics and rebellion; and Penny Kiley , author of Atypical Girl , on growing up punk in Liverpool and never quite fitting in. Anarchy, nostalgia and no shortage of opinions guaranteed. There will be a book signing after this event.
