The Abberton Home Education: Wild Art Attack brings a themed drop-off home education session for age 8+ on September 23 at Abberton Reservoir in Colchester. The session will run from 12:00. Tickets are priced at £9.50.
This is a themed drop-off home education session for age 8+
Our Abberton Home Education Group runs on the 4th Wednesday of every month (exc. August and December). These are drop-off sessions so children do not need to be accompanied – it is for children aged 8-16. Each session has a theme where we will complete activities and engage with nature based on the topic that month. This is a relaxed session where children can be themselves and work together to develop social skills and to foster a deep understanding of wildlife and a love of the natural world.
In September we will try to get creative in some unusual ways using natural materials. We will create charcoal ink and wood quills, use natural textures for printing and more!
Please head into the visitor centre on arrival. You will need to accompany them into the building to sign them in for the session. A consent form must be completed ahead of the session.
