Carers' Priorities for Budget 2027 – Town Hall & Local Assembly
Join Family Carers Ireland for a local Town Hall event bringing together family carers, TDs and Senators to discuss the priorities that matter most to carers ahead of Budget 2027.
Family Carers Ireland has submitted its Pre-Budget Submission to Government, setting out the key measures needed to better support family carers. This event is an opportunity to explore those priorities, share your lived experience and ensure elected representatives hear directly about the realities of caring and the impact Government decisions have on carers, families and the people they care for.
Your voice matters. By attending, you'll help ensure the experiences of family carers are reflected as Budget 2027 is finalised.
Following the Town Hall, there will be a short Local Assembly meeting. Local Assemblies provide family carers with the opportunity to help drive real change, meet other carers, discuss relevant topics and share your feedback with Family Carers Ireland. When you speak, we listen - to direct our strategic priorities, influence policy and plan programmes of interest to you. Come and meet your local National Council of Family Carers delegate, Family Carers Ireland staff and learn about the commitments we are making to support family carers.
We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an informative, engaging and supportive discussion.
