Female Founders Unfiltered: Navigating Menopause, Motherhood and more... will take place on 6 November 2026 at 10:00 at The Junction, Warwick Innovation District. This free wellness event will be inclusive of cis-women, trans, and non-binary entrepreneurs involved in or planning a business.
Note: this event is inclusive of cis-women, trans and non-binary entrepreneurs who are currently running or planning to create a business
During this event we'll dive into the realities of being a woman in business and the workplace, exploring some of the challenges that can emerge throughout different stages of life and career.
This special CreaTech takeover edition of Female Founders Unfiltered will open with a powerful keynote discussion examining the realities women face in the workplace, particularly within tech, games and creative industries. Drawing on national and global research, the session will explore topics including maternity and parenting, menopause, neurodiversity and late ADHD/ASD diagnosis, alongside the cultural, organisational and legal factors that can impact women's career progression and wellbeing.
Together, our speakers will shine a light on why many women feel the need to mask or avoid disclosure at work, the barriers they encounter throughout mid-career and beyond, and how employers, leaders and allies can help create environments where women can thrive.
Join us if you're:
Looking to connect with a supportive community of female founders and professionals
Interested in understanding the unique challenges women face throughout different stages of their careers
Seeking practical advice, lived experiences and strategies for navigating workplace and entrepreneurial challenges
Passionate about creating more inclusive workplaces and supporting women to succeed
Exploring a business idea or growing an existing venture whilst balancing competing personal and professional demands
The session will be moderated by marketing, brand and strategic leadership expert Natalie Griffith, Founder of Identity Spark Coaching, who brings more than 35 years of experience across games and technology sectors.
Joining Natalie will be Sarah Brewster, Organisational Psychologist and Founder of Fresh Seed, who specialises in people, culture and workplace performance. Together, they will provide expert insight into the barriers women can face throughout their careers and what organisations can do to better support them.
Joined by an inspiring panel of female founders, we will be hearing from:
Mari-Carmen Sanchez-Morris, Founder of Matresa
Backed by research, corporate pilots and real-world traction, Matresa is redefining maternal healthcare. Passionate about building visionary solutions, leading with empathy and disrupting the maternal health market, Mari-Carmen has successfully raised £315,000 in pre-seed funding to accelerate platform development and launch.
Lily Samuels, Clinical Nutritionist and Founder
Lily specialises in perimenopause, menopause and metabolic health. A former intensive care nurse, she helps women cut through misinformation, understand what's happening in their bodies and take back control using science-backed strategies.
All Female Founder attendees are then welcome to co-work from the fantastic co-working space at the Junction after the event.
