Global Woman Derby: Connect, Collaborate & Grow

Forget awkward introductions, collecting business cards and trying to speak to as many people as possible.

Global Woman Derby is about something much more valuable: genuine connections.

Join us for a morning of meaningful conversations, inspiration, networking and opportunities to connect with women from across business and professional life.

Whether you're an established business owner, entrepreneur, freelancer, professional or simply looking to expand your network, this is a space to meet like-minded women, share ideas and discover what could come from one good conversation.

What makes Global Woman Derby different?

We don't want this to be another networking event where you walk into a room, introduce yourself, exchange a business card and leave without really remembering anyone you met.

Instead, the focus is on quality conversations and genuine relationships.

You'll have the opportunity to:

✨ Meet inspiring women from different businesses and professional backgrounds

🤝 Build genuine connections rather than simply collecting contacts

💡 Share ideas, experiences and inspiration

🌱 Discover potential opportunities to collaborate

💬 Talk openly about what you're working on, building or passionate about

❤️ Be part of a welcoming and supportive community of women

Sometimes, one conversation can lead to a new collaboration, a new opportunity, a new client, a new idea or simply a connection with someone who understands what you're trying to build.

That's what we want to create at Global Woman Derby.

“But I won't know anyone…”

Please don't let that stop you from coming.

We know that walking into a networking event where you don't know anyone can feel daunting.

You don't need to come with a group of friends. You don't need to know anyone beforehand. And you certainly don't need to be the most confident person in the room.

Come as you are.

When you arrive, come and find Penny. She'll personally welcome you and introduce you to some lovely women so you can feel comfortable and get involved from the start.

The aim is to make sure nobody is left standing on their own wondering who to talk to.

Who is this event for?

Global Woman Derby is for women who want to meet other women, expand their network and have conversations that actually mean something.

You might be:

• A business owner or entrepreneur

• A freelancer or consultant

• A professional looking to expand your network

• Building or growing your own business

• Thinking about starting something new

• Looking for new collaborations and opportunities

• Simply interested in meeting inspiring women in your local business community

You don't have to fit into one particular category.

If you're open to meeting new people and making genuine connections, you're welcome.

Come for the networking. Stay for the conversations.

We're creating a room where women can share what they're doing, learn from one another, support each other and see where the conversations lead.
