Historic records show that golf has been played in St Andrews for more than 600 years, although many believe the game's origins here date back to the 12th Century. As well as being the birthplace of the game of golf, our tour of the world's most famous Links will give you an insight into the iconic landmarks and a history that is both unique and unparalleled. With the Old Course busy for play six days a week throughout the year, this tour is a great way to soak up the history of the centuries-old fairways without having to secure a coveted tee time.
Standard Walking Tour
Enjoy a Guided Walk of the Old Course (lasts approx. 1hr 15mins). After your tour you can collect your complimentary Old Course scorecard from the Links Clubhouse Shop or the Old Course Shop.

World Golf Museum
Your ticket also entitles you to purchase a discounted entry* into the R&A World Golf Museum (Current discounted rate: Adult £12.50; Seniors aged 60+ £7.50).*Entry to the museum is subject to availability and the Museum reserves the right to withdraw the offer.
