About This Event

Making clothes from scratch opens up huge possibilities in creating clothes that reflect your personality and to make things you can't find anywhere else. Over this 15 hour course spread across 6 weeks, we will teach you the skills to bring new life to your wardrobe with a focus on sustainable sewing. From the skills of garment making you'll learn about reading patterns, choosing sustainable fabrics and how to put your garment together. This class is a friendly, relaxed environment in which you'll learn how to carry out your own project while also picking up hints and tricks from what others are working on. You'll gain essential sewing knowledge and practical tips to build your confidence in sewing and using patterns along with how to make a garment from scratch.
