Pippa Perriam, known to her large and loyal following as It's Pippa, is an Edinburgh local whose trusted opinions on food and travel have seemingly influenced the entire city to get out and support its independents. Now a published author, her impeccable taste is about to expand its reach even further.

We're very fortunate to be welcoming Pippa to The Cookbook Shop on 17 September for a conversation about why Edinburgh is such a world-class foodie destination. Joining her will be Charlie Buchanan-Smith, one of the founders of The Free Company, a regenerative farm and field-to-table restaurant in the Pentland Hills. He'll be bringing along handcrafted drinks and snacks that distill The Free Company's ethos and demonstrate why it so deserves its nods in Pippa's book.
