About This Event

A new exhibition brings together the work of two well-known local artists. Inside & Out at Colinton Arts Gallery features the work of David Short and Susie Collingbourne, and explores two very different ways of seeing the world. David looks inwards, finding inspiration in still life, flowers and the familiar objects that surround us in everyday life. Susie looks outwards, drawn to the Scottish landscape, wild coastlines, shifting skies and the ever-changing atmosphere of Scotland’s great outdoors. Their approaches may be different, but both artists share a love of colour, light and the stories that can be found in the ordinary and the extraordinary. Inside & Out runs from 29 October to 03 December 2026, with free entry.
