Join bestselling children’s author Lynne Rickards on a tour of iconic Scottish wildlife. Lynne will take your little ones on a tour of iconic Scottish wildlife through some of her stories; from puffins to wildcats, and her latest book Rory the Little Red Deer. Suitable for ages 7 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and both children and adults require a ticket. Babes in arms (under 1 year) are free. Select a 'plus book' ticket to pre-order a copy of Rory the Little Red Deer for collection at the Scottish Storytelling Centre on Saturday 3 October. Part of the Scottish Wildlife Trust's Words of the Wild Book Festival, 29 Sep - 3 Oct 2026. Join us throughout the day for more author talks as well as workshops, family-friendly activities and book signings. For a full list of events visit scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk.
