Our regular event is back; a guided exploration of the Linux server command line. Aimed at absolute beginners. We'll show how to securely connect to a server then we'll work through Bandit, an adventure game set in the command line that progresses step-by-step from the basics to common programs and beyond. This will be an in-person event in [The Gamer Club](https://www.thegamerclub.co.uk/), on Bath Lane. I'll work through the challenges on the big screen and explain what I'm doing as well all work together though the levels. Join in and play along or feel free to work on your own thing (setting up a server, coding etc) and someone there should be able to assist you if needed. Read more on our wiki page at: [https://opensource.glasgow.social/command_line](https://opensource.glasgow.social/command_line) As always, remember to check out our open source chatroom on Matrix at #opensource:glasgow.social (sign up at [https://glasgow.social/matrix](https://glasgow.social/matrix) if you don't have your own homeserver). The event is free, but there will be a donation tin to cover the meetup costs if you'd like to help out. Note: The venue is unlicenced, but you are welcome to bring your own beers/wine and there is free tea and coffees!
