About This Event

The Sewing Club performs at Nice N Sleazy on 19 October 2026. The indie alternative band was formed in Nashville, Tennessee.

Formed in Nashville, Tennessee, The Sewing Club are an indie alternative band comprising Hannah McElroy (vocals, guitar), Stephen Meaux (guitar), Justin McKinney (guitar), and Zach McCoy (drums). Blending sparkly '90s-inspired grunge-pop with sharp, relatable storytelling, the group first built their following playing basement shows and local DIY venues. They gained wider traction with their debut EP Care, recorded alongside producers Calvin Lauber (Julien Baker) and Alex Farrar (Wednesday). Known for their melodic guitars and hook-filled hooks, the band has supported acts like Soccer Mommy, CMAT, and Slow Pulp while touring extensively across North America.
