For a full list of upcoming tours, please see below: Thursday 1 October at 12:30pm | The Story of France | An exploration of the history of France, using the impressive collection of French art and sculpture at the Burrell, while also highlighting other European treasures which reflect how France has been seen by its neighbours. Thursday 8 October at 12:30pm | Death and Mourning Gallery | A detailed look at the fascinating objects in the Death and Mourning galleries. Thursday 15 October at 12:30pm | China’s great emperors and nobles | The story of the great figures who shaped China’s history, including Qin Shi Huang Di, the emperor of the Terracotta Warriors, and China’s only female Emperor, the beautiful and ruthless Wu Zetian. Thursday 22 October at 12:30 | Power and Performance - some women’s stories in the Burrell | A tour around some of the collections pieces celebrating female art and experience. Thursday 29 October at 12:30pm | Rodin Sculptures | August Rodin was a French artist generally considered the founder of modern sculpture. The Burrell has one of the finest collections of Rodin's works in the UK. Come and take a deeper dive into these wonderful works. Please note that these tours are not intended for school groups.
