This month we're stitching folk-inspired samplers.

Looking forward to welcoming you back to the Top Floor with this wonderful sewing session, where you'll discover how to stitch a folk art style piece inspired by Lewis & Wood's Patchwork collection.

Alexandra will show you how to create a long, layered sampler using a series of fabric squares, enhanced with appliqué elements. She will then demonstrate how to creatively embellish these using a mix of hand and free motion machine embroidery, beading and ribbons.

As ever, you're very welcome to bring along your own project if preferred or just come along and be inspired by our remnants on the night.

This session offers a lovely opportunity to pause at the end of the week and spend a few hours crafting in a friendly, creative space.
