Are you a keen walker, or looking for an opportunity to walk more regularly? Would you like to spend more time in nature and discover more of Winkworth and the surrounding countryside?

Join our friendly team of volunteer walk leaders for walks on both well-loved and lesser-known routes around Winkworth and beyond. It's a great way to enjoy the outdoors, explore new places and meet other local people. At the end of your walk, refreshments will be available from our visitor centre cafe.

It is a leisurely scenic walk of approx 1 hour visiting the Fox Memorial and Boat House. The walk is generally level, but there is a series of steps down to the boathouse and a corresponding climb back up the hill to the visitor centre. This walk is not suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Elevation is 170ft descent and 167ft ascent.

We are launching social walks at Winkworth and would love you to be part of it as it grows into a valuable community resource in one of Surrey's most beautiful landscapes.

Walks will take place on the first Monday and third Tuesday of each month with a maximum capacity of 15 walkers.
