The Task
Join us at Kingsmead Recreation Ground for a day of many varied activities. We will be in our local chalk stream - the River Wye clearing excess vegetation and litter from the river. Plus there will be bankside activities to enhance this area for wildlife!
Plenty for all ages and abilities. Stay for an hour or all morning. New faces are always more than welcome!

10.15: Work begins
11.30: Tea & coffee break
13.00: Lunch Break - please bring your own
15.30: Work finishes, time to go home!
What to bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. You may need a hat and suncream if it's sunny.
Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
Access:
Kingsmead is on flat ground and suitable for all.
Please note:
Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.
Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
