Folklore can feel like the opposite of digital technologies: it is traditional while technologies like artificial intelligence are innovative. But can humans and AI tell stories together? Does AI have its own folklore?

Join this in person hands-on workshop exploring StoryMachine: a cutting-edge digital tool that combines human input and AI recommendations for collaborative storytelling. Work in a team with other participants to invent stories, draw maps of connections between them, and compare them with StoryMachine’s creations.

Whether you are a creative, educator, or folklore practitioner, this is your chance to explore how folklore and AI collide. No previous experience with AI necessary.
