Walking is a simple way to get outside, clear your head and get moving – and it can also help get ideas flowing. Netwalking brings those benefits together with the opportunity to meet and connect with others from across the property industry.

Research has shown that even a short walk can have benefits for both our physical and mental wellbeing. Regular walking can help improve fitness and reduce the risk of certain health conditions. Studies also show it can help reduce anxiety, depression and a negative mood. It can also boost self-esteem and reduce symptoms of social withdrawal.

Walking can also help us think more creatively. Research published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology found that people were more creative while walking than while sitting, with particularly positive results when walking outdoors.

And, unlike many forms of exercise, walking is easy to fit into your day and requires very little preparation. All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes – and a few new contacts to walk with!

Our Netwalking events combine a relaxed, conversational walk with the chance to make new connections in an informal setting. Whether you come with colleagues or on your own, everyone is welcome.

So step away from your desk, get outside and join us for a walk around the local area!

Growing your network is fundamental to our events and this will take place before and during the walk.

Attendance:

This event is open to professionals working in the property and construction sector. Please share with Colleagues, Clients and Friends in the sector.

Timings:

12:30 – Arrive at venue to register and mingle. See address in listing for confirmation of meeting point.

12:45 – Netwalk Departs.

13:30 – Netwalk return to starting point (approx. 45 min walk at an easy conversational pace)
