This event will be bookable on Monday 3 August 2026. Create a unique autumnal fused glass scene which will stand in a Leicestershire-made wooden base. During this workshop you will use clear sheet and a wide range of accessory glass to create your own design. Bring images to work from if you wish to, or tutor Katherine will provide ideas to inspire you. The workshop runs for up to three hours, but some participants may finish a little sooner. No experience of working with glass is needed so this workshop is ideal for beginners and doesn’t involve any glass cutting, but it is also suitable for those who have completed a previous course and want to develop their skills. About the tutor: Tutor Katherine has been a practicing glass designer/maker for nearly 20 years, and has an established studio in Tollerton. Her work is inspired by the natural world and the colour and clarity of glass. She shares her passion for working with glass by delivering workshops at an introductory and more advanced level in glass fusing, copper foiling and traditional stained-glass panel making. Further information: This half-day workshop will run twice on one date: Monday 19 October 2026 10am – 1pm or 2pm – 5pm Please ensure you book the correct session. Our café will be open or you are welcome to bring your own refreshments. All materials are included in the course fee. Participants must be 14+. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times. The closest public car park for parking at all other times is Victoria Park, 5-10 minutes walk from us.
