Wild Women Walks | Thornton Reservoir

Wild Women Walks are completely free community walks created to give women a reason to get outside, move, talk, laugh and meet new people.

Come alone or come with someone — you’ll be warmly welcomed either way.

This time we’re heading back to Thornton Reservoir for a Friday evening walk — and after such a lovely evening here last time, I couldn’t resist putting another one on!

We’ll enjoy a relaxed walk around the reservoir, taking in the water, countryside and views while having plenty of time to chat and get to know each other.

This is a lovely, social Wild Women walk and, as always, it isn’t about speed or being the fittest person in the group. We’ll walk together at a comfortable pace, enjoy being outdoors and hopefully finish the week feeling a little lighter than we started it.

Please come prepared for the weather with comfortable, suitable footwear and clothing. As this is an evening walk, I’d also recommend bringing an extra layer and, depending on the light, a small torch or headtorch is always handy.

And of course…

The post-walk natter is becoming just as important as the walk itself!

If you fancy staying afterwards, you’re very welcome to join us for a drink, a chat and a little more Wild Women time before heading home.
