While our LHC ELITE Hikes and LHC BIG Hikes are typically designed to push experienced hikers, the LHC BIG "INNER" HIKE has been created for those ready to take their first step into the world of BIG Hikes.

This hike has been designed as an introduction to our BIG Hike programme.
While it is one of our more accessible BIG Hikes, it is still a significant step up from our Sunrise Walks, Sunset Walks and Saturday Socials.
The route covers approximately 9.9 miles with 1,414ft of elevation gain and will take approximately 4–5 hours to complete.
Participants should be reasonably fit, comfortable walking for several hours and able to tackle hills, uneven terrain and countryside footpaths.
By booking this event, you acknowledge that:
• You are responsible for assessing your own fitness and ability to complete the hike safely.
• You understand that hiking involves inherent risks including slips, trips, falls, uneven terrain, adverse weather conditions and fatigue.
• You will arrive with suitable footwear, clothing, food, water and equipment for the conditions.
• You accept personal responsibility for your own safety and wellbeing throughout the event.
• You agree to follow reasonable instructions given by Lincoln Hike Club organisers and volunteers.
• Lincoln Hike Club reserves the right to refuse participation if, in the opinion of the organisers, a participant's footwear, equipment or preparedness presents a safety concern.
