About Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage as a musical set in a world of splendour and romance, where Bohemians and aristocrats rub elbows.

Directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, with a book by Tony Award winner John Logan, music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award winner Justin Levine, and choreography by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh, it is presented as a theatrical celebration of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love.

Remixed in a new musical mash-up, the show combines glitz, grandeur and glory with the story first seen in Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary film.
