About Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London brings Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary film to the stage in a new musical mash-up. Set in a world of glitz, grandeur, romance and excess, it tells the story of Bohemians and aristocrats coming together in a celebration of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love.

The production is directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, with a book by Tony Award winner John Logan, music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award winner Justin Levine, and choreography by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh.

Before you book

This show is suitable for ages 12 years and older. Strobe lighting will be used during the performance.

For matinee performances, the venue opens 90 minutes before start time. For evening performances, the venue opens 105 minutes before start time. Please arrive 30 minutes before the start time, as latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point.
