About Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London, brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage in a musical adaptation directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers. The production features a book by Tony Award winner John Logan, with music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award winner Justin Levine, and choreography by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh.

Set in a world of splendour and romance, the show places Bohemians and aristocrats together in a story built around Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love. It reworks the film into a stage musical mash-up, with the original’s glitz and grandeur carried into live theatre.
