About Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage in a musical mash-up extravaganza. Set in a world of splendour and romance, it follows the story of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and, above all, Love, with Bohemians and aristocrats meeting in a setting of glitz, grandeur and glory.

The production is directed by Tony Award® winner Alex Timbers, with a book by Tony Award® winner John Logan, music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award® winner Justin Levine, and choreography by Tony Award® winner Sonya Tayeh. Moulin Rouge! The Musical is presented as a theatrical celebration of the original film, remixed for the stage.

Before you book

This show is suitable for ages 12 years and older. Strobe lighting will be used during the performance.

The venue opens 90 minutes before matinee performances and 105 minutes before evening performances. Please arrive 30 minutes before the start time. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point.
