About Sinatra The Musical

Sinatra The Musical comes to the Aldwych Theatre from June 2026. Set on New Year’s Eve in 1942, it follows a 27-year-old Frank Sinatra as he steps on to the stage at New York City’s Paramount Theatre, where a performance begins the rise that will change his life and music history.

The production traces Sinatra’s success as his relationship with his wife, Nancy, and film star Ava Gardner pulls him in different directions. When scandal and a hostile press send his career into decline, he sets out to make a comeback.

The show features over twenty classic hits, including “That’s Life”, “One For My Baby”, “The Best Is Yet to Come” and “I’ve Got the World on a String”. It is written by Joe DiPietro, a two-time Tony Award-winning writer, and directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, who has won an Olivier Award and three Tony Awards.
