About Sinatra The Musical

Sinatra The Musical is heading to the West End at the Aldwych Theatre from June 2026. Set on New Year’s Eve 1942 at New York City’s Paramount Theatre, it follows a 27-year-old Frank Sinatra as a performance starts to change the direction of his career.

The story traces his rise as his voice captures a nation, while his private life is affected by the pull between his wife, Nancy, and film star Ava Gardner. When scandal and a hostile press send his career into a tailspin, he fights to stage a comeback.

The production is created by Joe DiPietro, a two-time Tony Award-winning writer, and Kathleen Marshall, an Olivier Award-winning and three-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer. It features over twenty classic hits, including “That’s Life”, “One For My Baby”, “The Best Is Yet to Come” and “I’ve Got the World on a String”.

Running time: Approx. 2hr 45min, including 1 interval.
