How do we remain thoughtful, free, and deeply human in a world of AI?
AI is changing far more than the way we work. It's reshaping how we find information, form opinions, build relationships, and understand the world around us. As the internet fills with AI-generated content, what happens to truth? To democracy? And ultimately, to us?
For more than a decade, journalist and Author, Jamie Bartlett has been uncovering how the internet is reshaping our identities, relationships, and society. From social media algorithms and online extremism to misinformation, surveillance, and the future of democracy.
Jamie is the bestselling voice behind The Dark Net, The People vs Tech, The Missing Cryptoqueen, and most recently Endgame: Can We Live with Artificial General Intelligence? His most recent book is, How to Talk to AI (and how not to).
Elizabeth Oldfield is a writer, speaker, and author of the book Fully Alive: Tending to the Soul in Turbulent Times. She is the host of The Sacred podcast, where she engages guests from a wide range of backgrounds in thoughtful conversations about their core values, beliefs, and the ideas that shape them.
We'd love you to join us for a human, honest and curious conversation about one of the defining questions of our time.
Doors open at 7:00 pm with the live recording kicking off at 7:30 pm, so please ensure you are seated by then. Complimentary drinks and nibbles will be available after.
The conversation will be followed by a Q&A, after which the bar will be open.
There will be plenty of opportunity to chat and connect after the event, so we hope you’ll be able to stick around for that.
