About The Smartest Giant in Town

The Smartest Giant in Town is a musical stage adaptation of Julia Donaldson’s children’s story, following George, a giant who swaps his scruffy look for smart clothes before stopping to help a series of animals in need. The story balances humour, warmth and a clear message about kindness and friendship.

From award-winning Little Angel Theatre, known for A Squash and a Squeeze and Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book, and West End producers Fierylight, the production was Olivier Award nominated. It features puppets, songs and Julia Donaldson’s well-known characters.
