About The Smartest Giant in Town

The Smartest Giant in Town is a 55-minute musical adventure based on Julia Donaldson’s beloved characters. George wishes he was not the scruffiest giant in town, so he visits a fancy clothes shop and comes away in smart trousers, a smart shirt, a stripy tie and shiny shoes.

Once he is the smartest giant in town, George meets a group of animals who need his help, and some of his clothes too. The production features delightful puppets and catchy songs, and tells a story about friendship and the joy of helping others.

It comes from award-winning Little Angel Theatre, whose work includes A Squash and a Squeeze and Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book, with West End producers Fierylight, known for Peppa Pig, Bing, Octonauts and The BFG. The show was Olivier Award nominated and received four stars from the Evening Standard.

Age guidance: suitable for children aged 2 to 8 years old. Babes in arms are allowed, and babes under 12 months sitting on an adult’s lap do not need a ticket. All other patrons need a ticket for entry.
