About The Smartest Giant in Town

The Smartest Giant in Town tells the story of George, who wants to stop being the scruffiest giant in town. After a visit to a fancy clothes shop, he gets a smart new outfit with trousers, a shirt, a stripy tie and shiny shoes, and becomes the smartest giant in town.

From award-winning Little Angel Theatre, the company behind A Sguash and a Squeeze and Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book, and West End producers Fierylight, this Olivier Award nominated musical adapts Julia Donaldson’s beloved characters into a family show with puppets and songs.

The production follows George as he helps a series of animals who need his support — and his clothes — along the way. The Evening Standard described it as “A Joy”.
