An inclusive and accessible 2-hour acting class for adults. Exploring theatre techniques and uplifting your wellbeing.
Welcome to Quest 'Wellbeing through Drama' Friday class.
Join us for a 1.5-hour class that explores a wide variety of theatre and acting skills. Brush up on Shakespeare, improv, and characterisation, and develop strong building blocks of understanding and creative wellbeing. All followed by 30 minutes of tea and chats.
Our classes are 'performance without pressure' - so there is no end performance, no line learning - just attend when you want to. We only invite you to engage - perfect for beginners, returning performers or people who always wanted to try acting, but felt anxious. We want everyone to go away with a positive shift and a spring in their step.
We have a range of facilitators running classes, and often invite guest facilitators with specialisms like stand-up or audition techniques - so keep an eye out for those events.
These classes are sponsored by the National Lottery - so are FREE OF CHARGE, but we welcome donations that help us continue all our other outreach and community work.
We have TWO classes that overlap at 11:30 for tea - please check which time you are booking for.
