GM Moving are excited to invite you to the next Tackling Inequalities Network meeting on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026.
This is a space for organisations delivering community sport, physical activity, and movement opportunities across Greater Manchester to connect and collaborate.
A full agenda will be shared closer to the meeting date; this will include opportunities for members to reconnect and to rebuild momentum of the network in it's role in tackling inequalities in sport, physical activity and movement.
The network aims to:
Foster Collaboration: Bring together community groups to share ideas, resources, and peer support focused on tackling inequalities.
Increase Visibility: Showcase the efforts of groups working to promote physical activity and address current challenges while celebrating successes.
Build Capacity: Equip organisations with skills to access future funding and enhance their offerings.
Connect Resources: Link groups with additional support to create more sustainable sport and physical activity opportunities.
The meeting will run from 9:15 am - 12:00 pm with optional free lunch from 12:00 - 12:45 pm. Please let us know about any dietary or accessibility requirements when you sign up, and feel free to ask any questions about the event.
