Join us for the launch of MIXED? A showcase of work made during a series of workshops exploring mixed race identity, history and experience.

MIXED? showcases a collection of collages created during workshops for people who identify as/with mixed-race at Manchester Museum led by artist Michelle Olivier. The project focussed on identity, representation, community and belonging.

Come along for the launch of the exhibition! There will be an introduction from participant and exhibition curator Owen Mills and artist Michelle Olivier, along with opportunities to enjoy readings from workshop participants as well as the artworks presented.

The exhibition will run from Thursday 3rd September - Wednesday 14th October and can be visited during opening hours which are:

Monday - Thursay: 16:00 - 23:00

Fridays: 15:00 - 01:00

Saturdays: 12:00 - 01:00

Sundays: 12:00 - 00:00

Acknowleding the inaccessibility at The Carlton Club, the artworks will be on display at Manchester Museum in the South Asia Gallery from Friday 16th - Sunday 19th October. This space has step-free access and will be available for viewing between 10am - 5pm each day.
