Join us at ARK for a screening of the National Emergency Briefing on the climate crisis, followed by small facilitated discussions and lunch

Join us for a community screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing, a 50-minute film adapted from the landmark National Emergency Briefing held in Westminster.

As climate and nature breakdown moves faster than anticipated, this event brings together top UK scientists and experts to present clear, evidence-based facts on how these crises impact our daily lives. The film covers the profound threats posed by the climate crisis, including:

Public health and extreme weather

Food systems and security

National security and local infrastructure

Economic stability and the energy transition

What to Expect

The Film (50 mins): An authoritative, sober look at the risks we face and the positive, practical actions we can take.

Community lunch (25 mins): An optional additional £3 ticket gets you a vegan coconut lentil daal, side salad and toasted bread

Facilitated discussions (40 mins): The audience will be sat around tables of 8. Each table will have an informal facilitated discussion to reflect on the film, discuss how you want to move forward and make note of your questions.

Whilst the film is advised for ages 16+, you are welcome to bring children along - we have arranged for a DBS checked ARK staff member to be present to mind them in the cafe area whilst the film is being screened.
